MDCB recognises the need for its governance practices to continue to evolve in order to ensure that they support delivery of the Company strategy and the effective application of governance principles. Our approach to governance provides a framework of clearly established roles, policies and procedures designed to support our compliance with the Companies Act, the King Report on Corporate Governances and other legal, regulatory and compliance requirements which apply to the Company. Our corporate governance framework establishes the structure, roles, responsibilities, and processes for the effective governance and leadership of the Company, ensuring accountability and responsibility, stakeholder inclusivity, transparency, risk management, ethical leadership, sustainable value creation, and adherence to its strategic objectives and legal obligations.
