Main Purpose of the Job:

Reporting to the Head of Market intelligence Research and Strategy, the Research Analyst will conduct mineral market research and provide strategic intelligence to support investment decisions, portfolio optimisation, and business growth The role will generate insights on local, regional and global mineral markets while supporting evidence-based investment recommendations Analytical acumen expertise and broad knowledge of mineral resources, mining and beneficiation, investments will contribute to providing data-driven advisory and decision making towards MDCB's investments and help shape the future of our mineral investment strategy

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct strategic mineral market research and analysis
• Prepare market intelligence reports and investments briefs
• Monitor commodity markets and industry trends
• Identify emerging investment opportunities and potential
• Support investment due diligence and project evaluations
• Develop strategic recommendations for investment decision-making
• Engage internal and external stakeholders on research initiatives
• Ensure research outputs comply with governance and reporting standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Economics, Data Science, or a related field
• A master's degree will be an added advantage
• A minimum of five (5) years relevant experience including at least two (2) years within mining or investment sector
