Mr. Ditirwa Charles Mphoeng

Mr. Ditirwa Charles Mphoeng graduated from the Coventry University, United Kingdom, in 1989 with a BEng (Electrical Engineering) degree, specialising in telecommunications engineering.

 

Mr Mphoeng has worked for various organisations within the public and private sector. Upon completion of his degree, he started working for the Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTC), rising through the ranks until he joined its executive leadership team. During this time, he actively participated in the Total Quality Management programme introduced to transform BTC into a modern and high performing public entity. He would later join Botswana Railways where he served as the Assistant Communications Engineer, then Kgalagadi Breweries where he served as Commercial Manager (Operations), then Shell Botswana where he served as Commercial Manager.

 

He brings a wealth of Board experience having served as a Board member at the formation of Botswana Fibre Networks (BOFINET) and Botswana Railways. He currently serves on both the Cresta Marakanelo Limited Board.

 

Mr. Mphoeng is the Managing Director of Newline Technologies Ltd, an ICT infrastructure development company that he founded in 2007.
